I want to go natural!
I've finally made up my mind.But do I absolutely,have to cut my hair off to get started?Can I start my twists or something till it grows out?Suggestions pls.

You need to go natural all the way... including down there... Then when you are done, please post pictures.

well I'm doing it.. I'm wearing my weaves and slowly cutting off the perm ends when i take the weave out.. after this current one..I'm doing the big CHOP...

Congrats Imed.
you don't have to cut your hair off right away.....when i went natural...I actually braided my hair, and let it grow out, and then twisted it and let it grow out some more, cornrowed it and let it grow out, then I even curled it on rods with setting lotion and wore it curly  ...before I actually tool the plunge for the big-chop! that way I actually had a good amount of new growth, so I didn't have to cut my hair abolo to start.You've got tonnes of options on what to do rather than chopping it all off at once.
