At this point even by the definition in your bible, you are still not born again.

from the above, it is obvious that it is not by our good deeds or how well we obey the ten commandments, that we are saved.

its also important to note that " except a man is born again, he shall not see the kingdom of God!!!!!!!" so r u sure of seeing the kingdom of heaven or the other kingdom below???

Thats not the "common knowledge" of being born again, and even the verse that you posted above goes directly against what Christ taught, and as a person who is supposed to be a "Christian", shouldn't you be following the teachings of Christ?

I'm not debating Romans 10. To be saved is not the same as to be born again. In post six you said some people have a "GROSS MISCONCEPTION" of what this is, but U yourself don't have a clear understanding of it either. .

I don't think getting all philosophical or gnostic at this point will help anyone. Lets not turn it into a "Paul-lians" vs "Christ-tians" issue just yet. It would be nice if you can keep it to applying what's in the "text" i.e. the Bible for now regardless of who wrote it or what’s contained in other excluded texts.

I'm not trying to bring "Gnosticism" into this argument, I am just trying to be as rational as possible. If someone claims to be a Christian, they should follow the teachings of Christ right? Then how is it that most Christians today ignore everything Jesus said and obey Paul, a man who never even met Jesus?
