i am not sure if the tongue have such strenght. interms of directing your life, your tongue can make you or break you. so it is sort of the strongest in shaping your life.

physically, i believe it is the gastrocnemius muscle at the back of your calf

i have no scientific back up on this. the heart contains red muscles which is good for prolong work, but the gastrocnemius contains both the white and red muscle which is good for reflex action and prolong work or activities. can u imagine if u make your heart go through the work your legs do daily. all the heart does is beat. legs runs, jump, flexes and changes directions.

Not everyone has a clit so how can that be the strongest muscle in the body? Maybe for you it is, you might have a lazy tounge.

Beating on an average of 72 times a minute.
No tongue here can do that much work,even if you talk every second of the day...which you can't cos you goin' be tired.
When you and I sleep,it beats on...and the tongue is at rest.
Let them switch roles and you'll see what I'm saying.
The heart goes through a lot for us...it's the one broken when we are emotionally hurt,it's the one sore when we mourn...and still keeps beating so we can stay alive.
It makes the truest meaning when the heart says 'I love you' than when the tongue says it...
The heart is not only the strongest muscle in the body,the heart is more than a muscle.
I can call the tongue the most powerful member of the body....Strongest,no!cos then it should be able to control itself,but it can't.It's powerful in that it can't set a whole world on fire,it can make and it can break.
Strength goes deeper than that.

Daisy, he said the strongest nut... Not the most important and most used muscle, get it right. Overall the largest muscle is not the strongest muscle in the body, that would be the glutious muscles. They are the largest muscles in the body. The potientially stongest mucles actually are normally compromised with more than one muscle put together to make a group of muscles.
Secondly the average heart beat is 80 beats per minute. If you are doing 72, you are beating slow. Hence the target Blood Pressure rate is 80/150 or 120(can't remember which).
You get tired of talking, not the tounge.
The heart can not be "broken" and emtions have an indirect affect on your heart. The heart rate only alters due to emotions because of horomones that are released into the blood stream when your mind says so. It is called adrenaline.
The "heart" that you are talking about is an imaginary depiction of your emotions built into one. It is has no physical form what so ever.
The heart is nothing more than pump. It transports fluids through the body and the body cycles it back around for the heart to restock it and transport it again.
