And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose(Romans 8:28).

We’re living in days fraught with danger (2 Timothy 3:1). You only need to turn on your television to hear the latest reports of wars, terrorist threats, plane crashes, automobile accidents, natural disasters…and so on. However, you don’t have to worry about all these things for you’re a Christian.
You see, all these are signs of the end of this age which the Lord Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows” (Mark 13:8). He however admonished you to be courageous, saying “…when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled…” (Mark 13:7-8). Refuse to fear regardless of what the circumstances of your life may be. Refuse to acquiesce to every situation that comes against you; rather, command things to change and they will. Jesus has given you the power to change any situation to your favour.

Always remember that the Lord is always with you, and He’ll take care of you. You were marked for success and victory (amidst the danger and frustration) the moment you were born again. Whatever the enemy intended for evil, God will turn it to your advantage. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…” Words of fear or discouragement won’t come out of your lips when you’re grounded in the Word of God. The Lord is your strength, so let courage be evident in your words; let it be seen in how you handle the circumstances of life. Don’t join the bandwagon of those who see only the troubles; see only victories and success in everything you do.


Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you because your Word and the power of the Holy Spirit are working in my life, lifting me above the circumstances of this world. Therefore, I’m moving forward and I prevail regardless of what’s going on around me.
