Distance is but a bridge
A link between two borders
Bounded by two hearts
One which must be kept for us to prosper
A love untested could yield disaster
So this test is for us to master
The beauty of true love while still learning
The true meaning of yearning
Yearning for that broken chord
Which held us together for a time
And allowed us share a bond so strong
We must wait patiently for that time
When our true love will be proven
Knowing deep within our hearts
That when that broken chord is fixed
It will hold us together for a lifetime.
