@faseda....thank you....I paid like 15 pound for 6 yards of that fabric from some store on Liverpool street a long time ago. I just remembered I had it and decided to try and sew a trad outfit.

@ IMED....I actually used a pattern from the skirt (cost $2). I'm not at the level where I can sew without a pattern. You can buy it at Walmart or any fabric stores. It is Simplicity number 4401. It shows you how to lay your fabric and cut it.
