so I've been manless for almost a year come feb 28.
I've been independent for as long as I can remember

now is time for a change

I feel ready for that man that will treat me good
even when I'm not looking
Does it really matter where I meet him?

Yes, it matters where you meet him. Eg, you wouldn't want to meet him on his way back from a cult meeting

On a more serious note, I'm not sure that it matters too much. But a lot of people would be wary of meeting someone in a club or at a party. But it doesn't mean that there aren't level-headed, good guys at clubs and parties. So, I say just have an open mind. I'm glad you're independent, and hopefully you've chosen to spend this last year getting to know yourself, what you want, and they type of man you want to be with.
