best over the counter (walgreens etc..) facial cleanser and scrub (i hear scrubs are crucial nowadays) for a nigerian male, or even the products some of y'all females use cuz they all work the same....and a good moisturizer that would not cause breakouts or f*ck with the skin tone (trying to preserve my darker caramel tone). any help is appreciated

Shea butter will keep you shiny black. For the facial cleanser and scrub, aveeno is good, make sure you buy what works for your skin in terms of being dry or oily.

Tell u what I use
wash with Neutrogena Deep clean cream cleanser used to use Simple which also worked well. but what you use should depend on what kinda skin / problems you have so you might have to experiment a lil. to moiturize use simple moisturizer ..or e45

clinique foaming cleansers and bar soap works wonders. then i like this mint julep mask, and neutrogina products work. my face sometimes get used to a soap so much that every few months i alternate between what I listed above. i can feel when my skin needs each one based on oiliness, smootheness etc.

I use the oil free St.Ives apricot scrub. It is inexpensive and effective. Just stick with a good product for at least a month or two. Drink lots of water and wash your face regularly. Any moisturizer with SPF 15 or more should do.
