What's the best way to store/preserve lace and aso oke

Does anybody know the proper way to store laces and aso oke fabrics?

Should I hang them on hangers, or fold them and put them in a suitcase?

If I fold them should they be placed into separate individual bags for each one before putting it into the suitcase?

I've observed that most poeple seem to fold each lace outfit individually, place into a bag, and then into a suitcase. This is fine I guess, but isn't fabric supposed to breathe?

Also, how are you supposed to launder laces with embelishments and rhinestones on them?

I normally wash my laces by hand. I dry them on a line, fold them and put them in a suitcase . If the lace is white, I put it in a plastic bag before putting it in the suitcase. If the lace has no stones I send it to the dry cleaners, they can handle such materials

how do u avoid it getting dusty or mildewy. that suitcase thing... i dont like.

What is camphor? Are those mothballs? If they are, then don't they make the laces smell funny?
