anyhoo....yeah that mashed potatoes out of a box..I don't usually do any kind of boxed cooking, but I was being lazy..so I rocked it that way...but it still can't can't compare to the made-from-scratch ones I make.

kool....my trainer told me that i can eat mashed po' but best making it from the scratch bcos the ones we eat in the resturants...they add milk/butter n other stuff to make it taste good....I am too lazy sha

I made pasta last night from the scratch....made red sauce from the scratch and then baked everything with shredded cheese....turned out nice too...wanted to take pic and post but my camera is not working

lol..ndo... on the pasta. Yeah I've been meaning to make some meatball sauce, but have been lazy :|...sha i'll be cooking for days nxt week...whole fam is coming down for thanksgiving. I did make this tandori past last week sha.

it's a pretty basic one...but I cna't really tell you the measurements..I kinda just toss things in there till it tastes the way I want it to/

Potatoes (I prefer red-skinned)
Salt
pepper
butter
Milk.

Peel potaoes, but leave some skin on (I like the skin in tehm)
shake some salt into the potatoes and boil untill soft
strain water out, and mash with potato masher till smooth
mix in salt, pepper, milk, butter, and whatever extra thing you might want to use...some folks use heavy cream...sha that increases your fat content..I've even seen some recipes where they include mayonaise. Sometimes i add some cheese to it, and garnish with parsley..and you're good to go

I've never been much of a salmon eater, I dont even like fish in general, hard pressed to find me eating fish, I dont even eat fish at home.

Here's the recipe for the Tandori chicken pasta I posted above. (don't know if you noticed, but some of those pics are from cabbage that I made separately)
I got the recipe from a recipe card at the grocery store. They advertise their gourmet sauces with the recipes and let you taste them in the store...so I liked it and tried it out. Not sure how you'd make it without the sauce, but I guess you can find Tandori sauce somewhere
anyhoo here's the recipe
  • 2 tbs Tandori Sauce
  • 1 lb Chicken, cooked
  • Linguini pasta (or pasta of your choice, I used wheat Rotini)
  • 1/3cups Red bell pepper, cut in strips (I used green, cause I didn't have any red at home)
  • 1/2cups Sliced Mushrooms (I omitted these, I’m not a big mushroom fan)
  • 1tbs Olive oil
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream/pasta water (unfortunately, I forgot this part and drained the pasta water , so I just used water, and then put a little whipped cream in it)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Boil Pasta and drain (keep water, if you’re using the water)
Cook Chicken in olive oil (I spiced it with my usual spices, red pepper...etc)
Cook pepper, mushrooms, & garlic until soft
Add pasta, chicken, cream, and Tandori sauce
Combine until coated and add parmesan cheese.
