Eye makeup.

I was watching a style show on TV and they did a special on eye makeup. I was so amazed by how they can change a person's face by playing up/or playing down the eyes. The looks they achieved with different colours were out of this world. I have been experimenting with my eyes more so than ever.

Are you into eye make up? If so what looks have you tired and how did it work out?

i'm into eyeshadows myself. but i tend to stick to the browns and bronze colors. sometimes i dabble into other colors it depends on what i'm wearing.

i don't like it when the colors are too high up the eyelid. i prefer the colors to be a str8 line right above the eyelashes or one stroke upwards by the nose bridge and one stroke downwards. but i don't like "screaming eyes."

one time i tried to mix and match colors but it didn't look rite. maybe i did something wrong. oh well my 10 cents, i need change.

in terms of applying eyeshadow, there is something called the 3 shade rule. basically apply a dark coating (for instance dark brown) on the base of the eye, next a light shade of brown in the middle and blush a little bit on the base, then preferrably use a reddish brown for the top of the eye. in terms of applying you don't want to be too heavy, so you can still have such of a natural effect. so basically, a light coating. for black skin, it's best to go with bronze, browish orange (tangerine) and brown. however, for darker skin, go with plum. if you are kinda skeptical, it's best to go over to a beauty joint, like em, mac, and just do a sample. basically, with makeup, be experimental, not crazy and eventually you will see what works for you. holla back, if you need any more hints.

I LOVE eyeshadow sha. I tend to stick with purples and lilac colors, cos that suits me the most, but lately I've gotten into some other colors like browny golds (Sable by MAC is TIGHT!!), I have a green and a couple of blues, and I have an eyeshadow paltte by Loreal where you can mix and match, so I play around with those a lot.

mY EYELINER IS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD TO ME!.....IT BRINGS OUT MA EYES AND MAKES IT BOLDER AND BRIGHTER........AND THATS PRACTICALLY THE ONLY MAKEUP I USE.......THE REST IS NATURAL

I Love me some eyeshadow , the color I use depends on what I'm wearing, I'm alot like minxie minxie with the purples and bronzes , those rwo look the best on my dark chocolate skin

i love it, i play with the colors i am like a collector. i have so many color, but u know the funny thing is that i proberbly use it 4 times a month. but when i do i love it.

I love eyeshadow and paints. My favorite shades (from MAC) of eyeshadow are Amber Lights (A gold) Humid (Green) Contrast ( deep blue) and my fav pant color is chatreuse.

Aside from all that:
You know if you go to a MAC store, you can make an appointment for a class with you and your friends, I believe about 10 people total, you have to each buy $50 worth of makeup (that's a foundation/ powder and eyeshadow palette or the eyeshadow palette and the proper brushes). They'll teach you how to properly apply all types of makeup and help you find the right shades for you.
