Errr....you do know that allspice is an actual spice? A lot of people think it is made from a mix of spices, (like curry) but it comes from a plant(pimento). It is not made up of cinammon or nutmeg as you insinuate. I think you should google it. Actually I'll save you the time...pay special attention to the last sentence in the first paragraph:

All well and good, but please take note of the fact that in its ground form allspice is commonly made up mixed spices, including cinnamon & nutmeg. I buy my allspice ground and ready mixed.
Taking it further, if natural allspice has hints of cinnamon & nutmeg, what stops people attempting to replicate it and coming up with the dried stuff?
