Get the CDrom and study it on your own, and then take the exam. I dont think u have to be at the academy. I used to volunteer at this high schl prog and they had high schl kids enrolled in their academy, and most of them were able to take it and pass, and get at least CCNA certified. I had a copy of the CD but cant seem to find it anymore unfortunately.
