i don't think lace has the "body/weight" to sew nice structed pants like that. Unless it were lined.

But then again i think that would be doing to much with the top and the shorts being the same material.

you know what? remember that outfit someone posted & the girl had this midriff tube top & skirt made out of dark green lace? they don't have the search function any more so i can't find it, but i thot that was kinda hot even though not traditional. the shorts thing just might work with that top. go for it, it's summer!!!
