e be like say designers nowadays want us to practically show our butt cracks while standing when we wear low-rider jeans or slacks. i was looking @ a mag. and there were three stages:
low... lower... lowest rise... the last one was basically on the girls butt crack. how low is your preference? for me i think the first stage is enuff. i have a rather sizeable behind so if i go any lower. ..whoa.... but they sure are comfortable. oya...

Women! I swear, when y'all stop chasing after models and what they wear people will stop usuing y'all. If people aren't trying to be anorexic, they are trying to get bigger boobs, now they wanna be naked. Later now una go blame us guys when we look.

please those things are eyesores, especially on women who are built like real women (you know with a butt and hips to match
) It really is not flattering at all. I'm convinced that the fashion industry is going to continue making clothes for women, that have the body of a pre-pubescent boy (i.e. shapeless) and since I'm anything but, I will have to work extra hard to find flattering clothes. It's a damn conspiracy ![]() |

Hmm, about women with hips & butts.
JLo & Beyonce have hips, and they are the only female celebrities who wear low-riding pants and I think look good in them and have actually heard men go crazy cos of their pants. Most of the women/girls I have seen in lowriders who are looking good have hips. The skin display may draw the attention, but the nice visible curves will keep the attention. Hips are not the only things that matter with those pants, there are the abs, upper and lower thighs, the small of the back, butt and the length of the legs. The style of the pants also matter ie flared, boy cut, etc Obviously, if you have super super hips, the kind that you need to have a belt or drawstrings for your skirts or pants, then I understand your plight. Stay away from lowriders. The most important things about wearing lowriders is that the stomach is flat and that the small of the back is trim. Otherwise, you are screwed. |

It is enough that men toss around some harsh remarks about our body structures, but let us not join them by throwing stones at ourselves. A woman having no hips, butt or breasts does not make her an unreal woman or an inferior woman. There are many physical attributes that make a woman a woman. Her delicate bone structure. The length & curve of her neck. The beauty of her shoulders. The texture & color of her skin. Her hair. Her voice. Her smile. Her laughter. The shape of her eyes & brows. Her legs. Her nails. The shape of her face. Her carriage. Her mannerisms. We are in a world where people are trying to fit the norm. If everywoman looked like a figure 8 with attack and defence, it would be boring. The beauty in a woman has to do with what sets her apart from others, her uniqueness. We should appreciate the variety we have in our shapes. Let us not add to the insecurities we have to face. Ladies, we should be respectful of the shapes of others and learn to appreciate ours. Women like Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, Liya Kebede are very attractive to men. We are all shaped differently, let us celebrate our diversity. Last edited by vinyloaee; 05-11-2002 at 03:38 PM.. |

Who da hell is Liya Kebede??
girl, I think it assumed that women with no hips etc don't have any problems finding clothing... by calling yourself a 'real' woman, you are putting a positive spin on things... someone like me wey no fit find pants (all my pants look cropped/capris), i no fit call myself a 'real woman.' So I call myself 'model height.' It's all about the spins girly. ![]() |

First, I applaud Vinyl, the ultimate voice of diplomacy
![]() Second, I love low riders, but I know that if the abs ain't looking right, they won't work. The butt crack rise is not applicable to me, co I sha know that if I really wanted to work i like that, somethin would be seriously wrong with me!! Biko, my yansh crack is for me and me alone. ![]() MinX
