so my pedicurist always wants to put a dark shade on. but i think the lighter colors look better for brown skin so i always get pastels. what do you guys think & what colors do you usually paint your toesies?

I usually go french. if i do colors, then brown.

same here, i either do a french, have black or blue (not light). for my fingers sometimes i use burgundy

not on my toes, but i dnt do that nemore. there were staining the nails

either French or Burgundy....................i've never used any other color.............maybe i shud try other colors

bright colors! it's summer time. pink,orange, white with colorful designs...

Well, usually I find that when a manicurist tries to talk me out of a light color, it's because s/he doesn't know how to apply nail polish well. Dark colors are very forgiving, because you can't see the streaks. Light colors will show every imperfection in the application. And of course, if the paint looks bad, you'll want them to do it over until it's perfect.

Personally, I like neutral colors (beige, beige-pinks) or a french tip on my toes. Once in a while, I'll go for a bright red or bright pink. I don't like dark colors on my toes. I think toes on darker skin look best in warm, bright, lipstick/candy colors. I'm pretty liberal with my fingernails.. almost anything goes.

For darker colors and reds, always ask for a base coat to be applied so it does not stain your natural nail bed.

I usually use light, pastel colors. And I almost always do it "french" sha so the color doesn't look that bland and it stands out...

y'all do french on y'all toes ? i think those r cute. I wanted to apply tips before but they were charging me an arm and a leg.
I normally use bright colors on my toes and get regular french or a neutral colors for hands (if i'm not getting french i'll match hand and toe) . Right now i have bright red on my toes and i have a black patent sandal i'm rocking for summer so the colors contrast nicely
