I've decided to grow my natural hair out but I need a bit of help:

What's the best way to transition without chopping my hair off? Weaves or braids? Does it make a difference really?

And a question on weaves, Human hair is so irritating! Why does it get so easily scattered and "flyaway"?? It just seems like its always all over the bloody place! Is there anything better I can use? That will at least stay slick and I can leave down without getting so scattered? Help please

Braids all the way. I don't know much about weaves. I didn't have problems with the one i've used but then again i spent over a hundred dollars for a pack. So you might try a more expensive one

The thing is, I notice that I prefer my hair either braided or in weaves or something, i.e, I don't like unnecessary fiddling with my hair (which is why the human hair frustrates me!). So if I'm going to keep braiding and all that, then the hair might as well be natural innit? What's the point paying so much attention to hair that I'm only going to cover up again? LOL i havent tried beer yet. To be honest with you i'm rethinking the whole thing but i dont want to be a quitter. This weather is so ridiculously hot that i think i might faint if i keep braiding my hair. I just took out the braids i had in angrily this evening. I havent done much yet, i'm gonna wash it and trim and most likely braid again. My hair is growing out nicely sha, i'm happy about that. I just use regular shampoo and conditioner for now...

If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times. Going natural is the best thing I've done. Not for my hair per se. Just for the convinience. I just do a shake and go 'fro. My hair grew like a weed in the last few months and it became a huge afro. I cut the shit off and now have really short coily naps. When transitioning, I braided my hair. But I only used synthetic hair (cheapness on my part). I also have never used weaves so I can't give advice on that...

I'm sorry but I don't take pics that much and I cut my hair a couple of days ago. Ask Nne 1 to infinity what she thought. She saw me for a quick minute on Saturday

nehoos i did both while i was transitiong;braids n weaves.Im even rockin a weave nau.I waited for my roots too grow out b4 i did d BC(big chop) just incase i dint like i could always braid it to cover up,lol but i did

TIP:Always keep ur hair moisturised,not grease ohhh cuz das bad
Wash n condition once in 2wks n deep condition.
Trim d ends every time u wash,supposed to be every 2 wks(i hope u're not like dem naijas in jand dat d hair for don giran b4 takin it out

sha im sooo impressed wit growth of ma hair n it's been 1yr n some change since ma last relaxer n ma hair is beautiful,growin n has life.After peeps saw ma hair i kno 2 dat ave followed me n 1 still transitioning n even ma mum wants to join in.

Nice nice...yesterday after washing my hair i chopped off all the relaxed ends

, it was a gruesome experence but i had to do it. Now i'm rocking a tinny-winny 'fro and i look so cute and chubby, me likes lol, but i'm putting in a weave tonight sha,when it grows longer i'll just take it like that for a while...it feels really nice in this heat that wants to kill my enemyLemme see your weave please(pic) i'm contemplating getting it professionally done or just getting a friend to do it...did the hairdresser leave your hair out at all?
