Pretty much anything by Jeffery Archer

I like Sandra Brown and Daniel Steel (I know -corny)
I love mysteries
I can pretty much read anything ( I enjoy reading history textbooks -sad but true)

I LOVE BOOKS!

I also like Chinua Achebe (Chike and the river, no longer at ease, things fall apart)
and I try to read books by African Authors

But the Brother Jero book by W.Soyinka, the one he one the Nobel Prize for, is one of the most boring books on the planet... just my thots.

Yeah... I'm making my way through all this books.. have you read his short stories? I've read two collections -'a twist in tale' and a 'quiver full of arrows' the dude appears to have some kinda obsession with Nigeria cos both of them have stories about Naija.

I saw a BBC remake of "David Copperfield" by Charles Dickens... LOVED IT SO MUCH I now carried my head and bough Nicholas Nickelby -SO SO SO Boring... but I saw the movie on Bravo and it wasn't so bad... I'm now into period movies and books -Bronte sisters, Jane Austen, I have "women in love" by DH Lawrence how dry is that?
