THIS IS FOR GIRLS WHO ARE NOT FAT BUT CLAIM THEY ARE
Ladies, what is up with people constantly saying they are trying to loose weight especially when they really dont need to? When will you reach the point when you dont have to toture yourself with a diet?
If you think you are fat, where are the ideas from? Magazines? Models? Family, friends or a boyfriend? Ladies, let us discuss this, we shouldnt drag our self esteem on the floor

Shey una know say some skinny people too have issues with their weight sha! abi u think we like being called broomstick abi chewing stick abi tooth pick.. My best advice be comfortable in your body please. Ladies we are not always gonna be happy when we look into the mirror and that's okay you can't look good everyday but you can eat when you are supposed to and you can be healthy.. Love ur body, rule your body don't let ur body rule you..

see thats wrong..I know for a fact that the healthy weight for a woman who is 5'5 is 10% above or below 125 pounds...Im 5'5 and I dont weigh that but I know Im healthy and I see a doctor each yr to make sure my body fat and all is good. I mean I see ppl who I think have great bodies and they still arent happy so my advice is be happy with what youve got; if you want to change it--be healthy not have distorted views of ur body, I know ppl with disorders and its very scary cos its not just ur body taht suffers but ur mind too.

Wow, all these girls are smallish, but like someone else already said there is no perfect weight. I know many health professionals now rely on BMI ( Body Mass Index), they say the healthiest BMI's for women is between 18 and 25, anything out of that range is unhealthy. The bigger your bone structure the higher end of the spectrum you should be. However, if you're an athlete your BMI will be high because of your muscle mass.

To calculate your BMI, divide your weight by your height in inches twice and multiply this number by 703.
e.g. The BMI for a 5'5" woman weighing 119lbs is:
119 /65 = 1.83
1.83/65 = .028
.028*703 = 19.8

Abeg mek una faget dat one. Those are statistics culled from primarily caucasian samples. All de rap videos gals and cheerleaders wey all dis young boys dey drool over probably start at the high end of the scale and probably weigh more. Fit women weigh more because it is muscle that gives you your shape and holds up the "jelly". You are better of concentrating on bodyfat percentage which is about 20-25% for most of the ladies you would see on the telly, but up to about 28% is great. I know some very slim 5'10" women that weigh even more than 150, but they are solid and very toned. There are other factors such as size of your skeletal frame and so forth, but your body fat % and how you feel healthwise is best.

Any Black woman who has ever tried to buy Jeans should know that the dimensions and statistics of Oyibo women are different(Thank U God!) No go dey starve una self for natin.
