oya i have decided that my hair is my enemy. some of u know my trials and tribulations with my nappy hair and my mis-adventures with the curly pudding .. anyway.. i decided to go to a salon and see if they could do anything with hard to manage super thick and kinky natural hair. the lady said she could texturize it to loosen up the curls. only problem is that i am trying to stay away from chemicals in my hair.. but the lady assured me that texturizing it is not using chemicals cuz its what they do to sften up lil kids hair.. anyway... i have made an appointment for sunday but i am kinda skeptical ....

whats the difference between texturizing and relaxing hair? (i always thought a texturizer was just a milder relaxant ??? anyway if anyone has info abeg lemme know before i make a mistake and put chemicals in my hair.......

so i'm guessing it WILL soften ur hair but not without some type of chemical...and u can still wear a fro if you want.

i regret texturizing my hair. It's not straight and it's not kinky it's just something in between but it feels like a perm. When i braid at night and loosen in the morning it kinda looks really straight, in short i want my old hair back

well if your trying to stay away from chemicals texturizing is not the way to go, its a temporary straigtener, well thats the way i see it anyway.
but, y cant you just straigten your hair with straigteners, you can do it yourself, if your worried abt breaking your hair with all the heat then you can go to the salon and get a steam very 2wks, or you can home steam.

hmmm pls gimme more info... how often d'you have to texturize it to keep the style? do you have to do anythiong else to your hair or you can just wear it out like that? what if u decide to grow out the texturizer, does it break ur hair like relaxer does?

when you etouch the txt. the ends traighen while the roots are curly... its still the same chemicals as relaxers, just a milder version. how long is your hair? you can try twistouts, braidouts or a straw set with yur hair... that ish is hot! you can play ith different kinds of weaves. get some hair polisher if you are having problems combing it. try to only comb it when it is damp. or when you come ut of the shower, put some in, then blowdry it... your afro stays bgger onger then when it starts to shrink a little, twist your hair in about 25-30 twsts all over... pm si necesitas mas informacion de los estilos por su pelo natural

Pure natural hair is da bomb.

texturizer is a milder form of perms! u can do a lot with natural hair sha!
